Schriftrollenbehälter aus Gotha, um 1900
aus Holz, braun gebeizt, an den Enden gedrechselt. Darauf angebrachte feine Verzierung aus geprägtem Leder, mit Eichenblättern und Schleifenmotiven, Stadtwappen von Gotha mit St. Gotthard, Darstellung des Rathauses sowie Ziegelofen. Innen mit Stoff und Papier ausgekleidet. Wohl zur Aufbewahrung einer Zunftordnung o.ä. Dem Alter entsprechender Zustand mit Gebrauchsspuren. L. 60cm.

Interior lined with cloth and paper. Probably for the storage of a guild order or similar. The condition corresponds to the age with traces of use. L. 60cm.
